INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
The Independence Day of India, which is celebrated religiously throughout the Country on the 15th of August every year, holds tremendous ground in the list of national days, since it reminds every Indian about the dawn of a new beginning, the beginning of an era of deliverance from the clutches of British colonialism of more than 200 years. It was on 15th August 1947 that India was declared independent from British colonialism, and the reins of control were handed over to the leaders of the Country. India's gaining of independence was a tryst with destiny, as the struggle for freedom was a long and tiresome one, witnessing the sacrifices of many freedom fighters, who laid down their lives on the line.
स्वतंत्रता दिवस समारोह हमारे स्कूल में मनाए जाने वाला एक अनिवार्य इवेंट है। इस दिन हमने अपने देश के स्वतंत्रता सेनानियों और उनके बलिदानों का सम्मान किया, इन्ही की वजह से हम लोकतांत्रिक, गणतंत्र जीवन का आनंद ले सकने में सक्षम है।

A "Prabhat Pheri" was organised by K.V. No 1, VASCO, GOA on their campus in commemoration of the "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav," which celebrates 75 years of Indian freedom.
Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is an important Hindu festival, dedicated to brothers and sisters. On this auspicious day, sisters tie a thread on her brother's wrist and pray for his long and prosperous life. In return, the brother gives a token of love to his loving sister.
ह त्योहार श्रावण मास के शुक्ल पक्ष की पूर्णिमा को मनाया जाता है। यह भाई और बहन के बीच अमर प्रेम का प्रतीक है। रक्षा बंधन पर हर भाई-बहन एक-दूसरे से मिलने की कोशिश करते हैं और साथ में इस त्योहार को सेलिब्रेट करते हैं।
